Nina Zeitlin is an independent, award-winning singer, songwriter, producer. Her voice is unique and versatile with a distinctly earthy, rich, and soulful sound. She also plays the keys.
With a love for both the studio and live performance, and the aptitude to embrace a range of genres, Nina has enjoyed a myriad of projects spanning pop, soul, funk, rock, blues, jazz, R&B, hip hop, A/C, Family/Kids, and various electronic hybrids.
Described as a "first-rate vocalist" by Time Out New York, Nina's voice has been featured on network TV, feature films, and numerous TV & Radio commercials for brands such as NBC, CBS, Disney-ABC, The CW, HBO, VH1, Comedy Central, ESPN, MGM, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Lipton, Budweiser, Brahma, Captain Morgan, Drambuie, Martell, Dunkin' Donuts, Toys"R"Us, Play-Doh, Honda, GA Rooms to Go, Ulta Beauty, L'Oréal, Keer Fine Jewelry, Chico's, and Kohl's. She has sung on projects starring Barry Manilow, Maya Rudolph, Sarah Silverman, Patti LuPone, Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Neil Patrick Harris, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, Cindy Crawford, and Cyndi Lauper. Her original music has been featured on The Daily Show and her songs have been released globally by labels including Defected, Om, G-Swing, Tirk, Redux, Greenskeepers and Wagram Music.
Over the past few years, Nina and her band Heylady (6-piece, Brooklyn-based neo-funk/pop) have had the pleasure of opening for George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Breakestra, Pimps of Joytime, and Rebirth Brass Band. They are the 2014 Winner of the WNYC Brooklyn Battle of the Boroughs and they've performed all over New York City and the Northeast at such venues as The Bowery Ballroom, Highline Ballroom, Brooklyn Bowl, B.B. Kings, Gramercy Theatre, The Middle East, The 8x10, Nectar's, and World Cafe Live.
Another of Nina’s career highlights was producing and singing on an eclectic family music album called King Pajama 'Something Sweet'. Recorded at her Brooklyn studio, the songs have played on radio stations across the country, the album won a Parents' Choice Award, and it was named a Top Ten Best Kids/Family Album by Time Out New York and NPR.
Truth be told, Nina's always been pretty vocal - at age two she was reciting songs with lyrics she didn't understand and at her 6th grade talent show, she played the piano and sang an original song called “Peace Should Be the Way of the World”. Later, at Wesleyan University, she explored vocal styles as the singer for the Jazz Orchestra, soloist in the Gospel Choir, and lead in two musical productions. Aside from the pure joy of singing, she also loves leading piano sing-alongs. When not making music, she enjoys doing accents & voices... as well as traveling, eating, and playing games like ping pong, tennis, pool, poker, and the throw-blueberries-in-the-air-and-catch-in-mouth game.

"Nina's voice brings color to your music. I can't think of a more accurate way to put it. As a producer/songwriter who works with a wide variety of material, I am very choosy when it comes to singers. I finally found the perfect voice. Nina's! Once you've found a voice that can make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end- you know you've found it. In additional to being a total pro who delivers the highest quality voice, Nina is also great at coming up with harmonies on the spot. I can't say enough about the absolutely pleasing tone that her voice has. If you're looking for a serious vocalist with serious versatility- then look no further. You've already found her"
